Steve started working at his father’s service station at age 12 and his passion for all things automotive has only grown through his nearly 50 years of service. He bought his first service station, Lakeside 76, at 19 years old, and at one time, he had 11 service stations from Reno and Sparks to Truckee, Susanville, and Irvine, California.
Today there are three Sierra Car Care locations in the Reno area, and Steve has had the honor of watching his trusted employees Rob Wolter and Larry Silva become respected managers and now owners of their respective locations.
Larry Yarborough | General Manager

Larry Yarborough has been in the service station industry since he was a child. His father owned a service station when he was growing up and through his time spent there, Larry knew he was a people person, and had a passion for customer service. Over the years Larry has worn many hats for the company and is currently the General Manager, overseeing all day to day interactions.
Rob Wolter | Store Owner
Lakeside Sierra Car Care
Rob started his career at Sierra Car Care as a customer service representative and has worked his way up through the ranks to become an owner of Sierra Car Care’s Lakeside location. He has worked for the company for over 26 years, and as a new owner is very excited to keep the values and traditions of Sierra Car Care going strong for another generation.
Larry Silva | Store Owner
Northwest Sierra Car Care
Larry Silva has been working with Sierra Car Care for over 20 years. He started as a customer service representative and his care and dedication to the company and the customers has only grown. He worked his way up to becoming the Manager at the Northwest location and is now the new owner, ready to continue the legacy of Sierra Car Care’s integrity and quality service.

Walt has been working with Sierra Car Care for the last three years. He is proud to be a part of a company that prides itself on traditional service and integrity when it comes to Car Care. Working with a small crew means the team can be meticulous in providing detailed service. Walt loves getting to oversee this kind of diligence and help foster meaningful relationships with each and every customer through service they can count on.
